ULINK’s SATA Test Tool Covers New Advanced Host Controller: Marvell 88SX6081 8-Port SATA II with Gen II 3.0GB Transfer Speed and NCQ Feature Set

Cupertino, CA, September 1, 2004—ULINK Technology announced today that their newly released software, "Drive Master® 2004 Professional Edition," will support Marvell’s new SATA II Host Controller. This newly added HBA support will provide users with an additional vehicle for testing SATA II NCQ and Gen II high speed SATA interface.

In addition to the already popular NCQ and AHCI tests, Drive Master 2004 Pro also supports all the features Marvell 6081 host controller provides, such as Port Multiplier Port (PMP) support and Power Management. Along with current support of Silicon Image 3124 Host Controller and Intel ICH6R, this addition makes Drive Master 2004 Pro the most complete SATA II test tool available in the industry.
