ULINK Provides Test Tools for the SATA-IO Interoperability Workshop #5 in Portland, Oregon from April 14 to 18, 2008
Santa Clara, CA, April 14, 2008—ULINK Technology, Inc will provides a range of test tools for the Serial ATA International Organization (SATA-IO) Interoperability Workshop (IW) #5 held on Apr. 14, 2008 in Portland, Oregon. It will be the third consecutive year for ULINK to support SATA-IO to perform the compliance test as industrial standard for the SATA interface components.
As an independent testing tool company, ULINK has successfully developed and designed SATA-IO compliance test suites within recent three years. At the upcoming IW #5, ULINK is organized to set up Device and Host Digital tests, which are served as the standard specification for SATA interface products by SATA-IO. With regard to the Device test, ULINK will perform Device Digital Test Suite (ASR, GDR, NCQ, SSP, IPM) and Device PHY BIST Test.
In addition to the compliance testing suite, ULINK's flagship product — Drive Master 2008 Pro, an upgrading version of Drive Master 2006, will be available for participants to perform tests for validating hardware and software implementation of SATA interface. Since the DM 2006 has been used by major testing houses and companies for testing SATA devices, new version of DM 2008 is equipped with advanced features and testing capacities.
